Obituary of Marcella Webb

Marcella Webb, age 80 of Iuka, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in Sigel, Illinois. Marcella was born on May 3, 1944 in Toledo, IL the daughter of Dewey and Beulah A. (Coats) Shaw. She married Thomas Webb on October 8, 1995 in rural Iuka and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2024. Survivors include her two sons; Michael Peddycoart and significant other Carla Lyons of Iuka, Kevin Peddycoart of Teutopolis; step-children, Thomas Webb and wife Angie of Murphysboro, Lori Ann Lipsy of Louisville, Kentucky, and Jennifer Thomas and husband Rick of Nashville, Tennessee; brother, Melvin Shaw and wife Linda of Greenup; grandchildren, Jade Peddycoart, Justin Peddycoart, Mara Adamson, Jordan Peddycoart, and Kenton Peddycoart; 14 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and special great-niece, Mandy Probst of Sigel. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Larry Dean Peddycoart; brothers, Cecil, Bill, Fred, and Danny; and sisters, Carolyn and Loretta. Marcella was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Iuka. She worked several years as the Secretary of the Salem Presbyterian Church, and had previously worked at the Christian Book Store in Effingham. Marcella was a Pink Lady and enjoyed spending time with her family. Graveside service for Marcella Webb will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Arborcrest Memorial Park in Funkhouser, Illinois. Memorial donations can be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com
