Judy Garrett, age 60 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Judy was born on May 18, 1964 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Alice Lorene (Mulvaney) West. She married David Garrett on October 3, 1996 in Salem, IL and he survives. Survivors include her husband, David Garrett of Salem; children, Andrew Garrett of Salem, Tara Smith of South Carolina, Jessica Biegeleisen of Salem, and Anthony Garrett of Maryville, Illinois; brother, Paul West Jr. of Wisconsin; sisters, Debbie Lee of Watertown, New York; and Sarah West of Sandoval; grandchildren, Jayden, Athena, Jackson, Everett, Holly, and Brayden; and cousins, Kathy Watson, Paula Quinlin, Vicky Lineburg, and Terri Kilburg and husband Dwain. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alice West, and her sister, Sharon Grayson. Judy was a very caring lady and worked for several years as a CNA. Her generosity continued after her passing as she was a registered organ donor. Graveside services for Judy Garrett will be held at a later date at Harvey’s Point Cemetery in Kell, Illinois. Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
