Jerald C. Gaston, age 69 of Kell, passed away at his home on Monday, April 8, 2024. Jerald was born on October 15, 1954 in Salem, the son of John Clair and Alice Gerladine (Brasel) Gaston. He is survived by his significant other, Alexandra Brown and her daughter, Isabel Brown both of Kell; siblings, Patty Parkinson and husband Darrell of Centralia, Mary Burkett of Salem, and Darrell Gaston and wife Sherry of Picayune, MS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jerald worked for Wayne Carter Trucking and Excavating for many years. He was a member of Harvey’s Point Christian Church. He enjoyed working around his property with his tractor, farming, and working on computers. A Graveside Services for Jerald C. Gaston will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Paradise Cemetery in Salem with Claude Howell officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Salem Chapter of Sleep In Heavenly Peace and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
