Vicki A. Orrell, age 59 of Salem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Helia Healthcare of Salem. Vicki was born on November 5, 1964, 1964 in Belleville, Illinois the daughter of Edward Orrell and Phyllis (Helm) Orrell. She is survived by her children, Joseph Alan Orrell and significant other Amber Metcalf of Salem, Josh Orrell of Centralia, and Jessica Orrell of Centralia; her father, Edward Orrell of Boulder; grandchildren, Kade, Kenzie, Keyton, Kaia, Krislyn, Lauren, Preston, Lillian, Julian, Brayden, Christian, and Kaiden; one brother, Edward Orrell Jr. and wife Beth; and a niece, Bethany Orrell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Helm; and brother, Charles Orrell. Vicki was of the Christian faith. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant working at Odin Care Center, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Twin Willows Nursing Home throughout her career. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, and gambling. Per her request, there will be no public services. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
