Louise Weems, age 89 of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem. Lousie was born on August 20, 1934 in Iuka, the daughter of Henry and Rosa (Albert) Molenhour. She married James T. Weems on December 27, 1952 in Salem and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2016. Survivors include her grandson, Clint Nix; nephew, Dan Cantrell and wife Doris Jean of TX; niece, Jenny Holsapple and husband Dwayne of KS; and nephew, Jeff Molenhour and wife Sheri of Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Deborah Sue Weems; and siblings, Frank Molenhour, Francis Fatheree, and Joe Molenhour. Louise was a member of the Salem Church of Christ for many years. She was a homemaker, cleaned homes, and enjoyed spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
