I am so sorry to learn of Ruthie's passing. I loved her so much. She was such an important part of our family. She was funny and yet so serious. We would ask her things just to hear her answers. LOL Always a classic had her hair done and make up when she went somewhere. I live in FL now but the last time I was in IL about 4 years ago I went to see her. I don't know if she knew me or not. There were times I felt she did. I fed her lunch and we just sat, and I talked. It broke my heart to see her like that, but she is at peace now I am sure of that. I still sent her Mother's Day cards and birthday cards. How do we know for sure she didn't get a glimpse of reality now and then? I would call the nursing home and check on her of course there was no change. I just called in August on my birthday. Sending love and prayers to the family may she Rest In Peace.
