Aleta Joan Webster, age 80 of Salem, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Salem Township Hospital. Joan was born on October 7, 1942 in Omaha, IL the daughter of Hiram and Stacy Leo (Krutsinger) Lyons. She married Raymond Webster on December 27, 1960 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, Lana Luker and husband Chris of Odin, Mark Webster of Salem, Mike Webster and wife Jeanna of Salem, and Jeff Webster and wife Pam of Salem; grandchildren, Mindy Lewis (Chuck), Dustin Patten (Kerstin), Cody Patten (Armie), Corey Luker, Caleb Webster (Janet), Brenner Webster (Kaylee), Gavin Webster, Patty Zuniga, Corey Heard, Chrissie Carroll (Chris), McKenize Rightnowar (Brett), and Dawson Webster; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. Joan was of the Christian Faith. She retired from World Color Press, after many years. Some of her other work included Brown Shoe Company, Magazine Mailers and North American Lighting. She enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, BINGO, and walking. Graveside services for Joan Webster will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:30 am at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem.
