Brenda Glass, age 72 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Salem Township Hospital with her family by her side. Brenda was born on September 14, 1950 in Carlyle, the daughter of Norman Dale and Irma (Gregory) Ritchey. She married Timothy Glass and he preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Irma Howard of Salem, Crystal Sloat and husband George of Salem, and Misty Pforr of Centralia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ronnie Ritchey of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one daughter, Dayle Ebel. Brenda worked for many years in nursing homes as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Martin Cemetery in Alma with Claude Howell officiating. A meal will be provided at the Salem American Legion following the service at the cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
