Janice R. Todd, age 73 of Fairfield, formerly of Salem, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at University of Louisville Jewish Hospital. Janice was born on May 29, 1949 in Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Harold H. and Kattie K. (Beard) DeBoard. She married Danny J. Todd on April 18, 1968 at the Grace Church of the Nazarene Church in Salem and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her close friends and longtime caregivers, Lee and Shirley Kern of Salem; one brother, Clifford DeBoard of Rockford; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Janice was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was a member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene, and had worked for the foundry and the White Brick Café. Funeral services for Janice R. Todd will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Doug Romine officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
