Lenora Jean Meadows Vineyard, age 92 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. Jean was born on March 26, 1931 in Centralia, the daughter of Raymond and Rose Irene (Correll) Morgan. She married Bobby Lewis Vineyard on November 10, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he survives in Salem. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Roberta Ann “Bert” Meadows of Centralia and Becky Helton of Salem; step-children, Gene Vineyard and wife Margaret of Ellington, MO, Warren Vineyard of Van Buren, MO, Caroline Vineyard of Van Buren, MO, and Karen Cleaver and husband Terry of Freemont, MO; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Raymond Meadows; and daughter, Rita Jean Schulte. Jean worked for many years as a waitress for the Starlight Restaurant. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family.
