A tribute to my aunt, Dee Morris. First I’ll admit that I borrowed some of the pictures from her FB page. My aunt was smart, funny, beautiful, and adventurous! She was a great gardener and seamstress. I was hoping to find the picture of my younger sis and I in the beautiful dresses she made for us. She was a strong women in her determination, her faith, and in some of her opinions and she was not afraid the let you know it! There was another picture that I wanted to find and that was one of her when she came out here to visit. We were at a shop in Poulsbo and she had on a Viking helmet complete with horns and blonde braids! Lol. She was a loving wife and mother and when it came to my sister and I, she was caring, compassionate, and patient. I love her dearly and will miss her. However, she is now in the company of the great ones who went before, my mom, grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunts, and cousins. Rest in peace auntie, you will not be forgotten.
