Daniel Lee Thorpe, 62, of Centralia, died on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born on July 22, 1960, in Centralia, the son of Harry and Evelyn (Mitchell) Thorpe. Mr. Thorpe is survived by two daughters, Danielle and Natasha; one son, Joshua; one brother, Ronnie Thorpe and special friend Esther Devor of Centralia; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; an infant son, Nicholas; an infant sister, Barbara Sue; two sisters, Judy Sills and Dorothy Siddell; and a brother, Donald Thorpe. Mr. Thorpe worked as a cook at various restaurants. He enjoyed old cars. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
