Junior R. Goff, age 77 of Enfield, formerly of Iuka, passed away at his granddaughter’s home in Enfield on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born on July 8, 1945 in Salem, the son of Theodore and Bessie (Porter) Goff. He shared 18 years with his life partner Joy Boston and she preceded him in death on July 15, 2021. He is survived by three children, Kevin Goff (Christinia) of Ottawa, Angie Hougas (Mark) of Ottawa, and Jason Goff (Sondra) of Iuka; grandchildren, Steven, Josh, Brittany (Elliot), Amber, Jade, Jordan, Aaron, Christian (Cassidy), Dakota (Keandra), Kristi, Jessica (Daniel), Cheyenne (Corey), Ashly, and Mariah; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; life partner, Joy; sister, Louise; and other brothers and sisters. Junior was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church. He worked for over 30 years as a painter at Caterpillar. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and being with his family. Funeral services for Junior R. Goff will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Larry Albert officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Snowville Cemetery in rural Iuka. Memorials can be made to the family and will be accepted at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
