Martin “Marty” Leuty, age 64 of Salem, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Marty was born on January 4, 1958 in Kell the son of Everett and Audrey I. (Lance) Leuty. He married Catherine Leonard on September 16, 1978 at Lovell’s Grove Christian Church and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2014. Survivors include, one son, Gary Leuty of Fairborn, OH; one daughter, Kelly Leuty of Belleville; three brothers, Lawrence Leuty of Salem, Jim Leuty and wife Sandy of Kell, and Randy Leuty of Salem; one sister, Delores Little of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sisters, Doris Leuty and Brenda Leuty; two sisters-in-law, Mary Leuty and Deborah Leuty; and brother-in-law, John Little. Marty had been employed as the Circulation Clerk for Bryan Bennett Library. He worked for 27 years at Leuty Service. A memorial service for Martin Leuty will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Dr. Andy Dewitt officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Memorials can be made to the Donor’s Choice and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.
