Linda Elaine (Holsapple) Wells, age 65 of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL, surrounded by loved ones. Linda was born on July 5, 1956 in Salem, IL, the daughter of Wally and Phyllis (Johnston) Holsapple. Linda retired from Wal-Mart. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone she met and easily made people feel welcomed and loved. Linda was a member of Brownsboro Baptist Church in Huntsville. Survivors include her two sons, Christopher Wells and wife Melissa, and Jonathon Wells and fiancé Leah all of Alabama; grandchildren, Taylor and Jackson Wells of Alabama; brother, Jim Holsapple of Florida; and sisters, Susan Decker and Cathy Baker both of Illinois. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Wally Holsapple; sister, Cheryl (Holsapple) Helm; brother, Steve “Walter” Holsapple; and close friend Danny Wells. Funeral services for Linda Wells will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Lance Tate officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the funeral home for the American Diabetes Association.
