Barbara Jean Hast, age 78 of Iuka, passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 at her home. Barbara was born on March 30, 1943 in Omega, the daughter of Burl and Nadine (Middleton) Moore. She married Duane Hast on January 3, 1976 at her parent’s home in Salem, and he survives in Iuka. Survivors include her husband, Duane; children, Tara Owens and husband Brad, Tracy Quick and special friend Lance Lancaster, Tonya Accardo and husband Stephen, Tiffany Martin and husband Jody, Trevor Quick and wife Teresa, Tristan Quick, Kristy McCarty and husband Stanley, Angie Hast, John Hast and wife Angie, Terry Hast and wife Melissa, and Trenton Hast; grandchildren, Courtney Owens, Caitlyn Owens, Corrine Harrell, Shayla Hast, Hunter Lancaster, Cameron Accardo, Garrett Accardo, Brycen Quick, Robyn Scheidt, Arizona Scheidt, Savana Borchers, T. J. Quick, Olivia Quick, Cody Johnson, Jacob Prince, Cyera Hast, Dalton Hast, Preston Hast, Terry Dakota Hast, Alyssa Hast, Kallista Dodson, Alexus Hast, Madison Hast, Brodrick Hast, Reign Hast and Brynn Hast; and 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Donald L. Moore. Barbara was a housewife and a beautician. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Barbara Hast will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crouse Funeral Home with John Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery in Salem. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s Foundations and will be received at the Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
