Obituary of Ronald E Clark
Ronald E. Clark, age 75 of Salem, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Ronald was born on January 18, 1946 in Stratton, Nebraska, the son of Charles and Evelyn (Pinn) Clark. He married Mary (Mullen) Clark on June 19, 1971 in Nebraska City, Nebraska and she survives in Salem.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Anne Cather and husband Andrew and their sons, Owen, Eli, and Aaron all of Ashburn, VA and Gretchen Clark of Denver, CO; brothers, Michael Clark and wife Ann of Collinsville, TX and James Clark and wife Kathy of Detroit Lakes, MN; brothers and sisters in-law, Michael and Glenda Mullen of Lincoln, NE, Paul and Karen Mullen of Omaha, NE, Martha and John Bohaty of Phoenix, AZ, Patrick and Suzanne Mullen of Fayetteville, NC, Anne and Daniel Donahue of Sedona, AZ, and Maureen Mullen of Omaha, NE; and an aunt, Carol Pinn of Sioux Falls, SD. Ronald was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Clark; his father and mother in-law, Owen and Margaret Mullen, grandmother, Anna Pinn; and an uncle, Orville Pinn.
Ron was the plant manager and director of corporate purchasing at N.A.L. for many years. During retirement, Ron enjoyed golf, working out, and trips with friends and family. He enjoyed life to the fullest and he was always up for a great party and a hearty laugh. He never met a stranger and was always curious to learn about their life. Ron was very loyal and beloved by many. He was a member of the Catholic Faith, the Knights of Columbus, and the Salem Country Club.
Celebration of life services for Ronald E. Clark will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2:00pm at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval with Father Steve Paulter officiating. There will be a time to visit with the family from Noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors or SSM Hospice and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
