Shirley L. Holsapple, age 81 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Salem Township Hospital. Shirley was born on February 27, 1940 in Marion County. She married John “David” Holsapple on June 13, 1959 and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2020. She is survived by her sons, Matthew Holsapple and David Douglas Holsapple both of Salem; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Shirley attended the Church of God for many years where she served as the pianist. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company and later sat with and cared for the elderly. There will be no public service. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family.
