Kay has been a devoted wife of 57 years to her childhood sweetheart Doug. In Doug and Kay’s many years of ministry together, countless lifelong friendships have been made that she cherished deeply. Her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life. Kay enjoyed crocheting and loved making blankets for her grandchildren and church family. In recent years, she had grown a love for the farm. She anxiously awaited for the baby goats to be born and it brought her great joy bottle feeding the new babies. She loved visiting with family and friends. Her fun loving and spunky personality was exuberant and she will be greatly missed by anyone that knew her. We are thankful for her decision to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We know that she has been given the promise of eternal life with her Heavenly Father. Kay was a devoted member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Salem.
A Celebration of Life Service for Kay Romine will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Grace Church of the Nazarene in Salem with Kevin Donoho and Trent Ice officiating. Burial will be at Summit Prairie Cemetery in Salem. There will be no public visitation. Memorials can be made to a Mission Fund that the family has chosen, with checks made payable to Doug Romine.
