Rocky Lee Pitts, age 58 of Centralia, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Rocky was born on August 15, 1963 in Salem the son of Paul and Elaine (Tate) Pitts. He married Bonnie Sue (Neville) Pitts and she preceded him in death on July 23, 2002. He is survived by three children, Andrea Pitts of Centralia, Cory Pitts and friend Diann of Centralia, and Shawn Pitts and wife Kylee of Iuka; seven grandchildren, Devin, Makenzie, Aryanna, Payton, Gavin, Bryson, and Jocelyn; eight siblings, Rhonda Brown of Carmi, Ken Pitts of Odin, Brenda Stanford of Flora, Marvin Pitts and wife Gail of Alma, Mary Brimberry and husband Brad of Alma, Steve Pitts and wife Nita of Salem, Randy Pitts and fiancé Barbie of Centralia, and John Pitts and wife Julie of Odin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Brown; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Pitts. Rocky was a huge sports fan, he especially like the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Boston Celtics, Arizona Cardinals, and Fighting Illini Basketball. He loved spending time with his family. Funeral Services for Rocky Lee Pitts will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Crouse Funeral Home with David Williams officiating. The family asks that those in attendance wear their favorite sports apparel. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Salem.
