Nicholas “Nick” Carroll, age 31 of Kinmundy, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. Nick was born on December 13, 1989 the son of Chris Carroll and Carla (Bray) Henken. Survivors include his parents, Chris Carroll and wife Jodi of Salem and Carla Henken and husband Cary of Alma; fiancé, Courtney Gunnels of Kinmundy; children, Brady, Presley, and Sophie Carroll; siblings, Chelsi Henken of Salem, Torri Tune and husband Brandon of Patoka, and Kerrigan Henken of Alma; step siblings, Allie Milner, Victor Milner, and Cain Milner; aunt, Monica Burge of Salem; and uncle, Darren Carroll and wife Alyssa of Salem He was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Carroll and grandmother, Rena Carroll Nick was a Journeyman Millwright at Millwrights Local 716 in St. Louis. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his children. He loved hanging out with his dad. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Grace Church of the Nazarene in Salem. Private services will be held on Thursday at the church with Trent Ice officiating. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to Nick's children (checks made to Chris Carroll) and can be left at the church or at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
