Leslie “Cookie” Shuler, age 68 of Salem, passed away at her home on Monday, August 17, 2020. Cookie was born on January 12, 1952 in Salem, the daughter of Garland and Margaret (Courtney) Pratt. She married Lloyd Shuler on July 18, 1970 in Salem and he survives in Salem. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Lisa Liddle and husband Craig Jr. of O’Fallon, MO, Mandy Hobgood and husband Brad of Nicholasville, KY and Joey Shuler and wife Brittany of Salem; seven grandchildren, Madison Liddle, Mallory Liddle, Drew Liddle, Paige Hobgood, Kinley Hobgood, Reagan Shuler and Logan Shuler; seven siblings, Tom Pratt, Jim Pratt, Carla Hambleton, Judy Lewis, Rick Pratt, Julie Lane and Tracy Pratt; and several nieces and nephews. Cookie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jeff Pratt. She was a member of Grace Nazarene Church in Salem. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Paradise Cemetery in Salem with Trent Ice officiating . Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family.
