Donna K. Davis, age 63 of Salem, passed away at Doctors Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Donna was born on January 10, 1957 in Salem, the daughter of Franklin and Beverly (Sellers) Beard. After her mother’s death, she was raised by Franklin and Judy Beard. She married Ronald Davis on November 25, 1977 in Salem at Grace Church of the Nazarene and he survives in Salem. In addition to her husband and her mother, Judy of Salem, she is survived by two children, Craig Davis and special friend Stacey Charlton of Salem and Melissa Davis and fiancé Greg Lutz of Centralia; three grandchildren, Cameron Gelsinger and special friend Kylee, Brittney Davis and Levi Davis; two great-grandchildren, Benson and Blakleigh; one brother, David “Huggie” Beard and wife Mary of Salem; two nephews, Matthew Beard and Keith Bowers; four nieces, Cassie Sellers, Jami Noe, Megan Scarborough and Courtney Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Franklin Beard; mother, Beverly Beard; and a sister-in-law, Rhonda Bright. Donna was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Salem. She ran an in-home daycare for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, making many blankets over the years, crafts, cross stitching, painting, and cross word puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Private Graveside Services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
