Carl R. Brown, age 67 of Salem, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Carl was born on April 8, 1954 in Montebello, California the son of Carlous and LulaMae (Byers) Brown. He is survived by his half-sister, Cindy Holbrook and husband Mark of Orange, CA; brother, Rex Brown and wife Claudette of Troy, IL; sister, Cathy Lambdin of Franklin, IL; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Carl retired from World Color Press in Salem. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and a past Governor of the Moose Lodge. Carl loved to fish, play pool, and most of all loved his family. He was always available to help others. A Celebration of Life for Carl R. Brown will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Salem American Legion. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
