Walter Joseph Daane, age 64 of Kell, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Walter was born on August 12, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Dale Leslie and Dolores Adeline (Feller) Daane. He married Laurel Snow on October 5, 1974 in Wheaton, IL and she survives in Lombard. In addition to his wife Laurel Daane, he is survived by Two daughters, Kelly Tumeo and husband Christopher of Poplar Grove, IL and April Daane of Lombard; one son, Dale Daane of Modesto, CA; six grandchildren, Leonard Conoboy, Jacob Conoboy, Joshua Conoboy, Dustin Tumeo, Owen Tumeo and Marcus Tumeo and two sisters, Donna Comer of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Daniels of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Daniel Conoboy and one brother, Peter Daane. Walter was a retired over the road truck driver and later in life did some local driving. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 705. He was of the Catholic Faith. In accordance with his wishes there will be no services. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
