Richard “Dickie” Wayne Breeding, age 68 of Murphysboro, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Richard was born on October 9, 1951 in Los Angeles, California the son of Richard and Una Agnes “Pat” (Barton) Breeding-Heinrich. Survivors include his sister, Sandra Mason of California; guardians and cousins, Tami Altadonna and husband Jerry of Springfield and Pam Fogerson and husband Mike of Chester along with several other cousins. Richard was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed his work at S.T.A.R.T. in Murphysboro and had a great sense of humor. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem at 11:00 am with Dr. Mike Fogerson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service. Interment will be in Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin. Memorials can be made to S.T.A.R.T. in Murphysboro and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
