Obituary of Norma Jean Davis
Norma Jean Davis, age 93 of Kell, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Centralia Manor.
Norma Jean was born on November 2, 1926 in Salem, the daughter of Clyde Lee and Lena (Ray) Lee. She married Donald Chapman and later married Charles Davis and they both preceded her in death.
Survivors include, one daughter, Donna Jean Durham of Salem; one granddaughter, Tammy Branon and husband Tim of Centralia; two great-granddaughters, Lauren Branon and Raegan Branon; nieces and nephews, Nancy Friedrich, Paul Lee, Robert Lee, Carolyn Young, Betty Lou Young, Robert Young, Charles Ray Lee, Mary Dial, Virginia Garner, Linda Anderson and Dorris June Koehnke who was an excellent caregiver along with Kelsey Phillips, Julia Lee and Rachel Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and six siblings, Dorris Friedrich, Ed Lee, Opal Winkeljohn, Louise Young, Bill Lee and Ray Lee.
Norma Jean was a member of the First Christian Church in Salem and the Red Hat Society. She was a farmer and a homemaker.
Funeral Services for Norma Jean Davis will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:30 pm at Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will be in the Zion Grove Cemetery in Kell. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Zion Grove Cemetery Fund or Six Lemons and can be received at the funeral home.
