Obituary of Decema Viviline Ruddell
Decema Viviline Ruddell, age 75 of Farina, passed away at her home on Monday, April 6, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Decema was born on March 3, 1945 in Heber Springs, Arkansas the daughter of William Audie and Lillian Almeda (Cates) Turney. She married Larry Ruddell on July 29, 1988 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2016.
She is survived by three sons, William Bryan Moyer of Nebo, IL, Leroy Leonard Lewis of Farina and Kevin Joe Lewis of Bolivar, MO; one daughter, Sheila Kay Eastman of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers, Floyd “Gus” Turney of Port St. Lucie, FL and Winston Coy Turney of Pinckneyville; three sisters, Lovena Vivijean Rehn of Sallisaw, OK, Virginia Fay Turney of Mattoon and Sherry Lynn Lyerla of Brighton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Vi was a homemaker and enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She was of the Christian faith.
Private funeral services will be held for Decema Viviline Ruddell at Crouse Funeral Home with Rev. Krista Stokke officiating. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery in Alma. Memorial gifts can be made to HSHS Hospice of Southern Illinois and can be received at the funeral home.
