Alveda Molenhour, age 87 of Salem, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2020 at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem. Alveda was born on June 3, 1933 in Alma, IL, the daughter of Tom and Venice (Eagan) Donoho. She married Rufus Molenhour on October 11, 1950 in Salem, IL and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her two sons, Michael Melvin Molenhour and wife Christine of Salem and Kevin Molenhour and wife Kim of Centralia; sister, Reta Snow and husband John of Salem; four grandchildren, Kathy Locke and husband Bob, Mark Molenhour, Minda Tatman and husband Eric, and Nick Spitler and wife Victoria; 12 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers, Wilford, Duard, Lyle, and Donald Donoho, a sister, Lula Belle Donoho, and a great- great grandchild, Jamie Metcalf. Alveda was a homemaker. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Salem. Private graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to the First General Baptist Church in Salem and can be left at the Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
