Thomas C. “Mr. Mac” McCuiston, age 82 of Farina, passed away on Saturday March 14, 2020 at Odin Care Center in Odin, Illinois. Thomas was born July 26, 1937 in Murray, Kentucky, the son of Jim and Evie (Henry) McCuiston. On November 9, 1962 he married Patricia “Pat” (Stites) McCuiston in Murray, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Farina. He is also survived by his brother, Jimmy McCuiston of Murray, Kentucky, and several other cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Evie McCuiston; a brother, Dan; and a sister, Annabelle. Thomas was a retired teacher from Kinmundy-Alma and South Central Schools. He served in the United States Army / Airforce. He was known to everyone as “Mr. Mac” and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He valued his students and friends and always had a classroom story to share. Per the families wishes, there will be no public services. Crouse Funeral Home is assisting the family.
