Obituary of Michael D. Easley
Michael D. Easley, age 50 of rural Centralia, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Michael was born on May 28, 1970 in Fairfield, the son of Olin “Buddy” and Louise (Bailey) Easley and they survive in McLeansboro. On April 25, 1992 he married Nicolle Carpenter and she survives in rural Centralia.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Jonathon Easley of Benton and Kirsten Duncan and husband Christian of rural Centralia; one grandson, Carter Duncan; and twin brothers, Larry Easley and Gary Easley both of McLeansboro.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one sister, Theresa Easley.
Michael was a member of the Little Grove Church in Walnut Hill. He was an automotive technician for many years. He loved following the Green Bay Packers and racing, with fond memories of his son racing during his younger years. Michael was always willing to help others, most of all he enjoyed time with his family and his grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Little Grove Church in Walnut Hill with Lance Boldt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Little Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Little Grove Cemetery Fund or to the family and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
