Pearl L. Jones-Griffin, age 86 of Alma and Foster Township, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Centralia Manor. Pearl was born on February 7, 1933 in rural Kinmundy, Illinois the daughter of Jesse Jones and Laveda (Cox) Jones. She married Raymond Griffin and they later divorced. Survivors include, two daughters, Lila Williams and husband Gary of Alma and Susan Weibley and husband Tony of Centralia; one son, James Griffin and wife Darla of Centralia; nine grandchildren, Darrin R. Griffin and wife Rose, Zachary R. Griffin and wife Jessica, Savannah K. Griffin, Jason R. Klamm and wife April, John W. Klamm, Stella Johnson and husband Drew, Anna Shuler and husband Cory, Andrew Williams and fiance Tyra and Joshua Weibley and wife Christina; 21 great-gandchildren; two brothers, John G. Jones and wife Carolyn of Carlyle and Kenneth Wayne Jones and wife Fran of Florida and one brother-in-law, Dean Jones of Salem. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren and one sister, Kathryn Jones. On April 12, 2020 her grandson, James "Eric" Griffin passed away. Pearl worked as a farm wife and at Bryan Manor. Family will gather at the Sandy Branch Cemetery on Saturday, May 2, at 1:30 pm for a graveside service. Crouse Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
