Obituary of Brent J Holland
Brent J. Holland, age 29 of Salem, formerly of Vienna and Bush, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Brent was born on June 30, 1990 in Carbondale to Jimmy D. and Barbara (Tweedy) Holland and they survive in Vienna.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Brittini Cape of Salem; two sons, Trenten and Jaaken of Vienna; two brothers, Jeremy Holland and wife Bree of Bush and Jake Holland of Vienna; nephews and niece, Ryan, Zoie and Keyane; grandmothers, Mary Holland of Bush and Jackie Tweedy of Bush; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loving pets, Kodah, Sampson and Roxie.
Brent was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Holland and Carl Tweedy and great-grandparents, Henry and Anna Holland.
Brent was employed with United Medical Response as a Safety Vehicle Officer. He had previously worked for Heartland Regional Medical Center and B.C.M.W. He was a member of the Shawnee Worship Center in Vienna. He was a fireman with the Salem Fire Protection District.
Funeral Services for Brent J. Holland will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Royalton Apostolic Church in Royalton. Burial will be in the Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem and on Saturday, from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm at the Royalton Apostolic Church. There will be a Fire Department Honor Guard at both visitations by the Salem Fire Protection District. Memorials can be made to the Marion County Fire Department of the donor’s choice and can be received at the funeral home. Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem is in charge of arrangements.
