The King of Kings took Samuel Walter Birkner- Reeves home to Heaven on August 13, 2020. Samuel Walter is the son of Shayla Birkner and Aaron Reeves of Centralia; brother to A.J., Xavier, Silent, and Sofia; grandson to Mike Birkner, Dixie Birkner, Linda and Jay Wilkins, and Doug and Lynne Reeves; great grandson of Fred and Donna Pickett and Joan Willard; great nephew of Walter and Kathy Salyers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family invites friends to join them in a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 pm on Monday August 17, 2020 at Crouse Funeral Home at 403 South Broadway Ave. in Salem with Pastor Karl Barnfield officiating. There will be a visitation from 6:30 until the time of the service. Private burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home or can be dropped off with Dixie Birkner at Kat & Walters Junk and Treasure at 1254 North Poplar St. in Centralia/ Central City, on the 19th, 20th or the 21st between 10 am and 5 pm. Samuel was only here for a few moments – a few moments is all it takes to change a life.
