Muna D. Harwell, age 87 of Salem, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Muna was born on February 23, 1933 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma the daughter of Ruby and Opal (Cosper) Weaver. She was married to Kenneth Clyde Harwell and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her six children, Mike Harwell and wife Marlana of Branson, MO, Ruth Ann Coleman and husband Alan of Ona, West Virginia, Terry "Ted" Harwell of Branson, MO, Kenneth W. Harwell and wife Susan of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mark Harwell and wife Shannon of St. Joseph, MO and Anthony Harwell of Salem; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Ruby Jo Watson of Salem and Carol Ann Howe and husband Bob of Irvington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, two brothers, two grandchildren, Elizabeth Dea Mason and James Kyle Harwell, and one great granddaughter, Jenna Marie McKinzie. Muna was a lifelong member of the Odin Assembly of God, where she was the pianist since the age of 12. She worked at a cosmetologist for many years. Private graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem with Mark Harwell and Kenneth Harwell officiating. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home who in in charge of arrangements.
