Obituary of Neola Burroughs
Neola Sue Burroughs, age 81 of Odin, passed away on January 25, 2020 at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem.
Sue was born on August 9, 1938 in Odin, the daughter of Neil and Ellen (Tate) Briscoe.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Susan Fredrick of Springfield, Missouri; son, John Burroughs of Mt. Vernon and two grandchildren, Lean and Clay.
She was preceded in death by her parent and one sister, Iris Briscoe.
Sue was a former member of the First Christian Church in Salem. She was a farm wife and a homemaker.
Graveside services for Neola “Sue” Burroughs will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin with Phil Martin officiating. Memorial contributions can be given to the First Christian Church in Salem and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
